"Most loved Korean noodle dish Japchae also called as jabchae, chapchae or jobchae is a feast of tastes. Here I’ve used traditional set of vegetables & but you can always mix & match you veggies & meat with this dish. 3 Bunch Starch noodles (300 Grams)
2 Bunch Spinach (100 Grams)
3 1/2 Tablespoon Soy sauce (or more)
2 Tablespoon Sesame oil
4 Tablespoon Olive oil
2 Medium Carrot (cut in to strips)
4 Medium Spring onion (cut in to strips)
1 Medium Red onion (cut in to strips)
10 Small White mushroom (cut in to slices)
5 Medium shiitake mushroom (cut in to slices)
3 Clove Garlic (minced)
200 Grams Beef (cut in to thin slices)
2 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Ground pepper
1 Teaspoon Sesame seeds
In a medium sized boiling pot boil water for about 5 minutes. Add noodle in to the boiling water and cook it according to packet direction. When the noddle is cooked enough, drain the excess water and transfer into a large mixing bowl then add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil into the mixing bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Again In a medium sized boiling pot boil water for about 5 minutes add spinach in to the pot and boil for about 1 minute. Then drain the water and rinse with cold water, squeeze the excess water then cut in to slices transfer in to the noodle and add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil mix well.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a sauce pan when oil is hot add carrot in to the sauce pan, fry it for about 5 minutes until carrots are soft. Transfer the carrot in to the mixing bowl mix well together.
Again heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil, once it hot add onion and fry it about 2 minutes, then add mushrooms and spring onion in to the sauce pan keep cooking for about 3 minutes. Transfer the vegetable in to the mixing bowl, mix well all together.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil & add beef into the pan and fry evenly for about 5 minutes. Then add shiitake mushroom and garlic in to the pan fry about 2 minutes. At the same time add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce in to the pan and stir well.
Now add 1 tablespoon of sugar into the pan stir well. Keep cooking for further 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture in to the mixing bowl. At the same time add 1 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 2 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and ground pepper into the mixing bowl, mix well all together. Sprinkle few sesame seeds top of the noodle just before serve.
