Treat The Dark Skin In Your Underarms, Elbows, Neck And Knees with These Preparations

Skin pigmentation (Acanthosis nigricans, lat.) becomes worse under direct sunlight. Skin does not conceal oil in these areas, which is why they are mostly dry.

The skin under your armpits is usually darker due to too much use of poor quality antiperspirants and shaving.

Cucumber

Slice a cucumber, and apply a few slices under your arms. Apply fresh cucumber juice. It will lighten your skin within a few days.

Chickpea flour

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 1 tbsp yoghurt
  • a pinch of turmeric

Preparation:

Blend the ingredients until smooth. Apply it onto your armpits, and rinse off after an hour. Apply it every day for 2 weeks.

Baking soda

Mix it with water into a thick paste to get rid of hyper-pigmentation around your neck. Use three parts of baking soda and one part of water to obtain the right consistency. Apply the paste on your neck area, let it dry for several minutes, and rinse it off. Repeat the treatment twice a weak

Potatoes

Grind a potato, or make a fresh potato juice. Apply it on your neck. Let it 15 minutes, and rinse off with cold water.

Aloe Vera

Gently rub some fresh Aloe Vera gel on the affected area. Leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse off. For optimal results, repeat the treatment every day.

Milk

Blend milk and curd into a super-efficient remedy. Lactic acid will make the skin under your armpits a lot brighter.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp curd
  • 1 tbsp flour

Preparation:

Blend the ingredients together. Apply it under your arms, and let it work for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Sugar

Combine equal amounts of sugar and olive oil. Rub the resulting mixture on the affected area using circular movements. The treatment should last for 5 minutes. Wash off with mild cleanser and warm water. Do the treatment every day to lighten the skin on your knees and elbows.
