I am not a toner person and most of the times, I spray some rose water and finish off. It is only when I do a facial, I care so much about toning. I am not sure why but I am quite lazy to tone my face on a daily basis even though I know that toning does great things to the skin. I always decide to buy a toner but skip every time I shop my cleanser, but not this time. I bought a cleansing milk for the first time and to really get the benefits out of it, I purchased the toner.

My Experience with Garnier Skin Naturals Softening Toner:
Most of the products I buy are love at first sight; some have lost the charm and lying in the cupboard never used, or some I have given to my dad and my husband. They are the people who use the products I do not like anymore. Anyway, when I bought Garnier Refreshing cleansing milk for normal to combination skin, I opted the same variant of toner. I tend to have a little drier skin nowadays and so to get benefits out of both, I purchased Garnier Softening Toner for dry to very dry skin.
The product comes in a clear pink bottle, now you know why it attracted me at the first sight. It comes with a white flip cap and is tight enough but the bottle like the cleanser is bulky and if you want to carry it, the bulky products take most of the space. I also wish it would have been nice if they had a spray instead of a nozzle as there is always wastage of the product
The product looks like water and has no color. The smell of the toner is mostly fresh and has an artificial perfume added to it. It is enriched with Moringa flower’s seeds known for anti-oxidants and cherry that soothes the skin. The cleansing milk I have does some good job in removing almost all the dirt out of my face and I hardly notice anything on the cotton pad when I use this toner. But the toner eliminates the residue kind of feeling I have when I first apply the cleansing milk and makes my skin look fresh. After I finish with the cleansing and toning, my skin looks soft and supple with no dryness and when I apply my MAC Studio Fix powder without using a moisturizer or a base, it looks just perfect and gives a dewy finish.
To try, I have used only the toner as it also has makeup removing properties and it effectively removes all the dirt and makeup from the skin and also the eyes without even stinging a bit. Like the claims, it does leave the skin looking cleansed, fresh and soft but I am yet to see if it improves the complexion like claimed. But other than this, this is a perfect toner and can also be used for combination skin. They have the same version in UK and it says ‘for normal skin’ but nothing is mentioned on this bottle. I think even normal skinned people can use this. I do not have dry skin, so I don’t know the benefits it would provide but for combination skin, it doesn’t cause any dryness on my cheeks and forehead so I love this product and I am sure my relationship with this product would stay long! So summing up,
Pros of Garnier Skin Naturals Softening Toner:
• No parabens.
• Removes dirt and makeup off the face effectively.
• Effectively works in reducing dryness on the skin.
• Makes skin look soft, fresh and toned.
• Doesn’t irritate the eyes.
• Can also be used for combination and sensitive skin.
• Works perfect with the cleanser from the same variant.
Cons of Garnier Skin Naturals Softening Toner:
• Bulky size.
• The nozzle hole could have been replaced with a spray.
IMBB Rating: 4.8/5 (I am in absolute love with this one)
