Bath and Body Works Tiki Mango Mai Tai Shower Gel Review

Hello lovely people,

Yes, yet again, one more shower gel from Bath and Body Works. Well, I bought just this travel-sized shower gel and he was relieved.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Tiki Mango Mai Tai Shower Gel:
Bath and Body Works Tiki Mango Mai Tai Shower Gel comes in the standard BBW transparent plastic bottle with a push top cap. The packaging is same but only prettier since I have the travel-sized version ; ) The packaging is lovely with beautiful flowers on the bottle which makes it very attractive and pretty. This range is available in travel size as well. The packaging in simple and functional.

The shower gel is orange-coral in color. Well, when the name says mango, the color should have been yellow!! Instead they should have named it “tiki orange am tai”. Well, it doesn’t even smell like mango. The top notes are mainly grapefruit and mandarin and I really cannot trace even the slightest mango in any of the notes. After the fruity top notes, the flowery notes make most of the middle notes. Dry notes are fruity and musky. Well, it is not overtly sweet or fruity, but it is not one of my favorites either. Well, the scent does not stay for long and is almost gone when I step out of the shower.

The consistency of the shower gel is medium, neither very thick nor liquid-y. A dime-sized amount produces much lather and that is good enough for a single use. It does not strip my skin off moisture, instead it leaves my skin soft and supple. It rinses out well and leaves my skin squeaky clean. It cleans my skin effectively and the fragrance does evoke my senses. Though the shower gel does not dry out my skin, I always follow up with a moisturizer as I have a super duper dry skin.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bath and Body Works Tiki Mango Mai Tai Shower Gel?
Well, you all know how much I like BBW products, but this one did not hit the chord for me. I did not like this fragrance much and it is not one of my favorite from the brand. I am not going to repurchase this one. But yes, I do recommend this to BBW fans since this fragrance might appeal to you.
