My Experience with Clinique Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick Berry Blush:
I decided to experiment butter shine lipstick from clinique on an impulse and chose Clinique colour surge butter shine lipstick in Berry Blush shade. My overall experience with Clinique lipsticks has not been so great, even though it is one of my favourite brands. Some creamy lipsticks from Clinique make my lips dry and patchy and some long lasting lipsticks have mediocre stay power. Well you must be eager to know, how this colour surge butter shine lipstick in berry blush shade, performed on my sensitive lips.
Berry blush is a soft muted berry with silver shimmer, which gives a glossy shineto my lips. In my opinion, this berry blush is a pinkish berry shade with hue of bronzes or rather a shimmery bronzed berry shade. The silver shimmer is subtle and gives a shiny look to my lips.
The texture is buttery and soft, applies smoothly and evenly. Does not dry or dehydrate my sensitive lips, gives an even smooth finish to my lips. Mildly pigmented, gives a sheer colour surge to my lips. Lasting power is easily four to six hours, without meals, snacks or drinks.
Lips feel nourished and hydrated, as long as the lipstick is on the lips. Does not transfer or smudge. Clinique colour surge butter shine lipstick in berry blush gives a bronzed berry shimmery glossy shine to my lips. This is my first lipstick from Clinique, which does not dry or dehydrate my sensitive lips, but keeps them moisturised and nourished as long as it last on the lips.
